This page is a very simple expression of Thanks to God and to those who research and bring comfort to families dealing with sickle cell anemia.

Baby Girl is generally very healthy. To date, she has not had a crisis. She has learned to monitor her "status" and drinks plenty of water and eats healthy foods. Baby Girl has lived with sickle cell anemia with the grace that only God can give.

We know her experience is not "typical." However, we pray all will take hope that a child with sickle cell anemia can live a fun and productive life.
