Therman Evans, MD, PhD, is a physician, ordained minister, entrepreneur and chief of a village in Ghana, West Africa. Known as "Mr. Inspiration", Dr. Evans is the founder and CEO of WholeLife Associates, Inc. Philadelphia, PA and the Pastor of Morning Star Community Tabernacle, Linden, New Jersey. Dr Evans is a member of the Board of Directors for the Wellness Councils of America, the National Association of Health Service Executives, and an elected member of the Washington, DC Board of Education. He has been a contributor to such publications as The Journal of the American Medical Association, The New England Journal of Medicine, The Los Angeles Times, Ebony and the Black Collegiate Times. He has co-authored a book Staying Strong (Avon Publishing) and hosts Lifeline on station WHAT, AM 1340 in Philadelphia, PA. Educated at Howard University's undergraduate, graduate and medical schools, Dr. Evans also earned a Ph.D. in Bible Studies from United Christian College in NYC. He has served on the Commission on the Continued Vitality of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, as a visiting Regent's Scholar-Lecturer at the University of California at San Diego and is a Fellow of the Philadelphia College of Physicians.
